No longer significantly planted in the Bordeaux Regions of France, Carmenere was largely forgotten until its recent rediscovery in Chile where it was erroneously called Merlot for many years. Osprey’s Dominion is proud to be Long Island’s first producer of this unique varietal. We hope you enjoy our version of Carmenere with its aroma’s of spice, cedar chest and anise and rich jammy fruit flavors.
